Psychic Tea for Intuitive Work
I have been running a Tarot discussion group called Tarot and Tea. I inherited the name but I have run with it, making herbal tea potions specifically for the group.
When I came up with this recipe, I focused on the connection between the heart and the inner eye. That connection is important if you want to access the depths of your intuition.
Making this tea is always an opportunity to break out my junior herbalist skills, crystal infusing AND magick. I steep the leaves and flowers in a glass carafe surrounded by crystals and direct the magick into the water which acts as an excellent conduit.
Everybody in the group seemed to enjoy this tea immensely. We shared insights and really pushed our intuitive understanding of the Tarot cards. Here is the recipe I concocted. Feel free to use it and share your experiences in the comments!
(serves 4, can be resteeped for more)
Dried Jasmine Flowers (2 Tbsp) – these are excellent for connecting with the higher chakra and are delicious. Opening your mind up to new ideas and communications, this is an excellent herb for tuning the intuition.
Lemon Balm (2 Tbsp) – lovely and hearty, this member of the mint family soothes and aligns the heart with the mind, strengthening both and connecting to the Goddess Diana for spiritual work.
Star Anise (4) – These are the real kicker in this recipe. Not only are they delicious, they make the higher chakras sing, connecting your intuition with available allies, opening the mind up for clairvoyance.
Clear quartz – Great for helping to focus and channel spiritual energy
Amethyst – One of the best crystals for intuitive work, this abundant quartz gently stimulated the minds eye and opens the magnetic field
Lapis Lazuli – This is a great crystal for developing a connection to the inner senses. It also helps to bridge to the astral plane and many grear Goddesses.
Rose quartz – I especially like this for group intuitive work. By the end of my discussion groups, people who only recently met were hugging and smiling.
While the potion is infusing herbal and crystal properties, be sure to add your personal touch–Reiki, magickal intention, incantation or whatever your tradition calls for!
